MYM in transition.

For those of you who read, check in, or might be interested, MYM is currently knee deep in a state of major transition and an impending hiatus. John, he Alpha Space Monkey has been offered, and accepted a Mac job in scenic Portland, Oregon! What this entails is the packing of his entire life into shipping containers, and a rather long drive west from Washington, DC to Portland. With that in mind, the next three weeks will be a microcosm of insanity for him.

With that in mind, MYM will be taking a hiatus until such time as John has relocated and settled into his new job, and living arrangements in Portland. Likewise, new workspace will have to be located, since the new residence will be an apartment with no garage. (if you live in PDX and have painting space, now’s your chance to help.)

It may be a couple months till John is up and working again, but rest assured, he nor MYM are going to vanish forever. Its merely a matter of getting resituated. While the reinvention takes place, MYM would like to thank everyone who has supported us over the last several years with words of encouragement, internet linking, free webspace, and also your winning bids on ebay for the few machines we’ve sold. We dont do this for fame and glory, but its nice to have our work appreciated.

Lastly, when John and his cat begin the great western journey, it will be photographed and blogged like the once in a lifetime event that it is. We’ll be sure to link everyone to the bloggage, in case they may be interested.
